A full range of doubled ended thread plug gauges are available for wire insert tapped holes and finished threads.

Our thread plug gauges are met with all national and international thread specifications and are fully calibrated with traceability to national standards as required.


The accuracy of the finished thread is highly dependent on the accuracy of the tapped hole. 

An installed insert will reflect the exact geometry and fits it tapped hole hence it is advisable to check the accuracy of the tapped holes prior to the fitting of the inserts.

​It is not necessary to use any gauge to check the installed insert after the insert is being installed.
